Deputy Secretary to the Board of Directors, Director of Legal Affairs, and Compliance Officer, Fundación Telefónica

Isabel Salazar Páramo is the Deputy Secretary to the Board of Directors, Director of Legal Affairs and Compliance Officer at Fundación Telefónica. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in law and business administration from  ICADE (Comillas Pontificia University). Isabel is an International Certified Compliance Professional (IFCA). She has over twenty years of experience in corporate governance in the food & beverage and telecommunications industries.

She joined Telefónica Group in 2011. Before joining Telefónica Foundation in 2020, she carried out different duties and responsibilities within the Telefónica Group: Legal Counsel of Telefónica Group’s General Counsel Office, Head of Legal of Wayra (Telefónica’s startups acceleration company), Head of Legal of Profuturo Foundation and Head of Integrity of the Group, directly reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer. Integrity, commitment and emotional intelligence are key values in her professional performance.
