"Volunteering Fiji" newsletter 1st issue
The FCOSS National Volunteer Centre is proud to present its first Official Newsletter – Volunteering Fiji.
The FCOSS National Volunteer Centre (NVC) was established in December 2009, with a 3 year funding of $220,000 from Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation. The centre was launched with the vision to provide unemployed people and volunteers who share passion for volunteerism with opportunities to make a difference in their community. This year marks the end of 2nd year of the centre.
The Volunteering Fiji encapsulates the NVCs background, purpose, achievements and impact since its inception. It also briefly shares NVCs various projects, trainings, workshops, field practices and summary of important activities in 2 years. The volunteers success stories and message create a benchmark.
We thank the volunteers, charity partners, our donors, FCOSS team and everyone for your continued support towards FCOSS National Volunteer Centre.
Enjoy Reading and do forward to your contacts!!!

Great newsletter
Happy to spread the word. It's a very good newsletter, with some fascinating insights into the problems and challenges facing especially the young people and the unemployed in Fiji, and the opportunities that volunteering can bring to create value and social renewal in communities.
