No more scholarships for Singapore conference

There has been enormous interest in the 21st IAVE World Volunteer Conference, which will take place on 24 to 27 January 2011 in Singapore. Unfortunately, all available scholarships have been allocated, and we do not expect further funds to be available for this event.

For volunteers who were hoping to apply for financial assistance to attend the conference, we encourage you to seek out other means of support, so that you might be able to join us in Singapore.

The 21st IAVE World Volunteer Conference has the exciting theme of: ‘volunteering to change the world’. The event provides an excellent opportunity for non-profit leaders and decision makers in government and the corporate sectors to come together to share best practices around volunteering that changes the world, and explore how volunteerism can help create substantial multiplier effects within communities and play a critical role in a sustainable future for all.

Organized by IAVE and NVPC, the conference will be held in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of the UN International Year of Volunteers (IYV+10) and IAVE’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
