IAVE 21st World Volunteer Conference Workshop 322: Scenario Planning: A Powerful Way to Prepare for the Future in a Changing World

IAVE IRC

Every non-profit leader should have an opportunity to explore his or her leadership style and create possible ways to be even more effective in leading an organization from good to great. When we think of building trust and transparency in an organization, we also think of the style of the leader. Modern leadership theory is that the top-down style of leadership is no longer the best way to lead. Leadership today is more shared and collaborative. This workshop will creat an appreciation for collaborative leadership, explore various decision-making styles, when and how to use them and provide tools and options to ensure that individuals, groups and your organization can make better collaborative decisions.
