IAVE 21st World Volunteer Conference Forum 210: A Landscape of Perspectives
Many of us know the phrase "It takes a Village" in connection with raising a child to success. This phrase shows that it takes a lot of different people with different kinds of love, with many unique ways of viewing the world, and distinctive kinds of commitment to send that child forth armed and ready to deal with life. In that same sense, there are many alternative ways to make a difference in the increasingly smaller world we all live in. This Forum will highlight some of these perspectives - from personal passion to corporate responsibility - and how each perspective drives action in meaningful ways. These actions generate transformational change in communities around the world. Come and learn how to "change your view!"
